With the nationwide concern about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in the Public’s best interest, LaSalle Municipal Court for the following dates:
June 3, 2020, June 17, 2020 and July 1, 2020 will be processed by mail only.
All defendants with tickets/summons that were scheduled for court on June 3, 2020 at 1:30 pm, June 17, 2020 at 1:30 pm and July 1, 2020 at 1:30 pm will be sent a letter in the mail. The letter will include one of the following: an Advisement of Rights and an Offer from the Town Prosecuting Attorney, an Advisement of Rights and a Notice of what is needed by the Court to make an offer or a new court date (which will be Only for the cases where it is necessary to handle in Court and cannot be handled by mail). Once received, if you do not want to accept the offer made by the Town Prosecuting Attorney, your case will be Continued but to do this you will need to contact the Town Hall/Municipal Court and make the request (by phone, email or mail) by the date on the letter.
The letter will be sent to the address on the ticket/summons (If this is not the correct address, please contact the LaSalle Municipal Court with the correct address).
If you are scheduled for Court at a later date, please remember when attending LaSalle Municipal Court, plan to follow all of the Colorado and CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please bring a face mask with you to court. You will be required to wear one in court. Due to the Nationwide shortage of PPE (personal protective equipment), the LaSalle Municipal Court will NOT be able to provide you with a mask.
